Dehydration and Dementia

“According to recent research, one in five seniors does not get enough water on a daily basis.” ~Dr. Mercola~

From wrinkles to weight gain, water is thee fountain of youth! The longer we put off drinking enough or continue to make excuses, the sooner we deprive ourselves of life. We need not worry about our trips to El Baño/the bathroom or the fact that we don’t exactly like the taste. Water helps us eliminate toxins and flush fat. It can relieve us of pain, constipation, prevent kidney stones, headaches, dementia and a whole lot more.

“Up to 60 percent of the human body is water, the brain is composed of 70 percent water, and the lungs are nearly 90 percent water. About 83 percent of our blood is water, which helps digest our food, transport waste, and control body temperature.”  ~U.S. Department of the Interior – U.S. Geological Survey~

As for how much to drink? Let your thirst be your guide, but don’t wait until thirsty. This article lists signs and symptoms of structured waterdehydration, including CHRONIC dehydration. Also mentioned are the best types of water to drink, including my favorites (spring and structured), as well as a few ways to flavor. Though I don’t recommend sweetening it with a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g, good or bad. To me, this defeats the purpose of much. If it is sugar that you crave, HEED THE NEED. Perhaps your meal is unbalanced? Meaning you are eating too many white carbs (bread and pasta) or… you have parasites. They lovvvve sugar!

Aside from missing parts of the forest, I do miss getting my water straight from the spring. However, I’m happy to be using the next best thing… my portable structured water unit once again.

The following are ways I use to flavor my water.

  • Ginger (sliced or powder) – for digestion, energy or a headache
  • Chlorophyll – to cleanse and freshen the innards and breath
  • Gelatin – great for digestion, cellulite, skin, hair and nails
  • Psyllium – to cleanse and absorb toxic waste
  • Flax – for the Omega 3’s and digestion
  • Chia – helps keep us full between meal, provides energy and helps with blood sugar levels.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – for weight loss, energy and darn near what ails you!

PLEASE NOTE: there are many more benefits to these “flavorings” than what I list.

“The fourth phase of water is, in a nutshell, living water. It’s referred to as EZ water—EZ standing for “exclusion zone”—which has a negative charge. This water can hold energy, much like a battery, and can deliver energy, too.” ~Dr. Mercola~
*”living water” being structured.

A raisin, a prune, and leather are all dried out – YOU don’t have to be!
