Gastric Bypass: The “Easy” LAZY Way Out

By on August 8, 2015

If this wheelchair bound young woman can lose 20kg/44 pounds, anyone can! Not only has she known what it’s like to be in the upright position with arms and legs that work. She became paralyzed from the neck down in 2006. Yet didn’t give up or use it as an excuse.

A wise gal to realize she is in control of her body and what went into it. She did not use Gastric Bypass: The “easy” LAZY way out to reach her goal. She rose to the challenge instead.

Making Excuses Does Not EMPOWER You

You gotta love yourself a LOT to do what’s right. You know. Treat your body better than you do your vehicle. Maintain/DETOX it regularly.

The excuses I hear are so pathetic, it’s disturbing. And not for me. They are disturbed. Time and pain are usually the most common excuses. Whether it be not having time to exercise and cook or how something as simple as walking hurts. My smart chiropractor prescribes walking and water. They work! For both.

Like a baby learning to walk, they fall down and often times get hurt. No big deal. Baby steps will lead to walking a block then a mile and more. According to some, walking an hour daily can help reset your metabolism. I LOVE walking, but I also love green tea. Both of which help keep me clean and lean day in and day out.

Not only are you in the drivers seat of your health, you’ve got both arms and legs to get there.

While some with fully functioning arms and legs are busy taking the “easy” way out with gastric surgery. She lost weight in a wheelchair. That being a huge success alone. However, she is now a model and motivational speaker. YAY, a non-celebrity making waves.

These are the type of stories that need to go viral, not the so-called weight loss success story of someone losing after surgery.

KUDOS to her. She truly thrives in the fruit of her labor. Yes it was diet that got her there, but wheelchair bound and all, she became physically proactive too.

“Not having time or energy for weight loss makes no sense. Does it take more time or energy to eat fish than prime rib? No.” ~Martha Beck~
