Got Kidney Stones? Lemon & Oil To The Rescue!

By on May 30, 2014

“It’s so silly that kidney and bladder disease has become an epidemic in America, especially since it is so easy to prevent… and so simple to heal.”  ~Dr. Richard Schulze~

Oil and lemon – two popular ingredients in the world of detox, and for good reason! Combined, they help your body release toxins. Just as the Master/Lemonade Cleanse sounded too good to be true (to me at least), this simple, inexpensive, two ingredient cleanse did too. It has a powerful effect on helping rid the kidneys of stones. Since I’ve never had kidney stones, I haven’t needed to do. However, since our skin is referred to as our 3rd kidney, I did it to see if it’d help my stubborn, slowly fading melasma complexion issues. And just as I thought… no kidney stones were released. Aside from slight burning during urination once, I did get a lot out from my bowel and liver, which in turn helped my skin. YAY!!

Depending on which face mapping/reading chart you look at, the chin is responsible for kidney, bladder and/or reproductive. Below the eyes correspond to the kidneys as well, which is why I got dark puffy circles under my eyes following my first dose of this. Thankfully, they went away and my body just began eliminating weird stuff (mucus, bile and possibly a parasite or two).

A cleanse I stumbled upon a year or so ago and has already helped several avoid surgery. One woman in particular had her thyroid removed due to cancer. and is now on thyroid medication and dealing with kidney stones as a side effect. She was ever so grateful to find a much less invasive way to rid her body of them, especially since they will continue to reoccur (as long as she take the meds). This kidney stone flush is especially great for those that can’t afford other ones or where others have failed to work. A cleanse does not have to cost a lot to be effective – less can be more.

Before knowing about this kidney cleanse, a friend of mine tried #1 of 7 kidney cleanses I wrote about it my Ageless Aging book. He did it twice, but got no relief. This, being a perfect example of one size does not fit all and perhaps his stones were formed from a substance other than calcium, a common cause of kidney stones (although they may be formed from at least four different substances). He did end up having them surgically removed. Should they come back, I look forward to him trying this simple but powerful cleanse.

Another advantage to this cleanse is that it can be done on the go and/or during a regular workweek. Naturally, depending on the number of days you do, the supplies will vary. And although people get relief after 1-3 days, I’d do it for at least 4 to 7 days. I’d also only use freshly squeezed lemon juice and organic ingredients.

Ingredients:

• lemon juice
• olive oil

Quick & Easy Instructions:

Mix 2 ounces of olive oil and 2 ounces of lemon juice. A jar (with lid) works well to mix anything that includes oil. Drink in one gulp then follow with a large glass of water. Drinking water is especially important should you have any sign of stone pain (or the feeling of one passing through). Repeat this drink 2–3 times/day until stones are passed.

Original recipe found on one of my favorite sites, Earth Clinic. They are a plethora of information from around the world. Other ways to help flush the kidneys are watermelon (with seeds) and parsley. Good quality watermelon seed tea, so you know, can sell for at least $40/pound. Like grapeseed and grapefruit seed extracts, seeds are there for a reason. With watermelon, try to buy organic then rinse, dry and powder the seeds to use during the off-season. Parsley can be added to dishes and/or brewed as tea.

“Watermelon seed tea is a diuretic recommended by Edgar Cayce, particularly as a stimulant to cleanse and purify the kidneys and bladder.”  ~Drclark.com~
